Import tariff quota

On June 15, 2016, the Brazilian Foreign Trade Chamber, announced the publication of Resolutions 44, 45 and 46 in the Official Gazette, reducing temporarily the import duties on frozen sardines (HS Codes 0303.53.00) for a certain quota.

The new import tariff has been reduced by 8% from 10% to 2%. This duty applies for a six-month period and for 30,000 tonnes.
