On May 2, 2017, the Federal Public Revenue Administration of Argentina issued Resolution General 4039-E establishing for the first time reference values for imports of ham. The new criterion values correspond to a FOB value of USD 8.00 per kilogramme.

The updated list of criterion values for imports introduced in 2017 referred to the following countries: Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands and Portugal.
