On May 2, 2017, the Federal Public Revenue Administration of Argentina issued Resolution General 4039-E establishing for the first time reference values for imports of pork.

The import criterion values referring to the countries of Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, and Portugal, correspond to a FOB value ranging between USD 2.54 and USD 4.00 per kilogramme.

In the case of the import reference values referring to Brazil Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay, they correspond to a FOB value ranging from USD 1.64 to USD 3.21 per kilogramme.
