The advance payment guarantee - worth 10 million GBP - was required for a contract signed by the British military vehicle manufacturer Supacat with the Australian government.

The Finance Director of the SC Group, Supacat's mother company, was quoted in a UKEF press release saying "Without UKEF’s support, we would have had difficulty financing this contract. Working with RBS and UKEF meant that we were able to access the finance we needed to sell to Australia and as a result, significantly increase our revenue".
