Import tariff

On January 26, 2016, the Government of Bolivia issued the Supreme Decree 2657/2016 increasing the import tariffs on beer, wine, vermouth and other alcoholic beverages by 20%. The new import tax was set at 40% while previously, the applicable value in some cases was as low as 10%.
