ANNOUNCED AS TEMPORARYYes
Import tariff quota
On January 21, 2015, the Argentinian Government announced a 6 percentage point, temporary reduction of the import tariff applied to dimethylamine and their salts under an import quota of 12,226 tonnes. The new tariff will last one year (starting from the date of inception). The out-of-quota tariff remains unchanged at 8 percent.
This decision is based on MERCOSUR's Directive No. 31/14 which in 2014 approved the application of Argentina to introduce this import reduction and incorporate it within its juridical system before 25 October 2014.
