Anti-dumping

The antidumping investigation was initiated on 6 March 2017. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 2907.23.00. This investigation follows the application lodged on 13 January 2017 by Nantong Xingchen Synthetic Material Co., Ltd. and four other companies.

On 9 November 2017, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China imposed a provisional antidumping duty on imports of Bisphenol-A from Thailand. The rate of duty is 10.1% or 31% depending on the company.

On 6 March 2018, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China imposed a definitive antidumping duty on imports of Bisphenol-A from Thailand. The rate of duty is 9.7% or 31% depending on the company.
