On February 18, 2013 provisional measure 606 was passed by the Brazilian government which allowed the insurance for exporting companies (Seguro de Crédito à Exportaçao) provided by the Brazilian Managing Agency of Insurance and Guarantee Funds (Agência Brasileira Gestora de Fundos Garantidores e Garantias S.A) to include coverage to exports in the aeronautical sector in the country in operations where the risk does not befall the entities who do not owe the debt in question. These insurances come at subsidised rates and cover political, financial and other costs for exported goods abroad of Brazil.

 

On July 9, 2013, law number 12.387 the Brazilian government made provisional measure number 606 passed in February, 2013 to be permanent.
