Export quota

On December 30, 2016, the Government of Argentina passed the Decree 1344/2016 announcing the establishment of export quotas for all types of fish products coming from the Paraná River fishery. The quotas affect 10 different fish species and will be established by the Fishing and Aquaculture Subsecretary.

The Government has announced that this decision has been made based on environmental issues.
