NoOn 14 July 2015, the Indonesian Ministry of Trade issued regulation 51/M-DAG/PER/7/2105 banning the import of all used clothing. This does not include used clothing as moving goods (art. 5 of the regulation).
The regulation will come into force two months after its issuance.
Based on the UN COMTRADE database, Indonesia did not import used clothing worth more than 1 million USD from any single jurisdiction in 2014.
Update
On 25 February 2020, Indonesia issued Minister Trade of Indonesia Regulation No. 20/2020 that cancels Indonesian Ministry of Trade Regulation 51/M-DAG/PER/7/2105. With this new regulation, import ban on used clothing is lifted.
