Financial grant

On April 17, 2015 Gary Goodyear, Minister of State for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, announced in Mississauga, Ontario that FedDev Ontario -- acting through the Advanced Manufacturing Fund -- would invest up to $15.2 million in Baylis Medical Company. The funding will support an exciting project that will bring new medical devices to market. Baylis will manufacture and commercialize three new medical product lines in southern Ontario.
A state measure in the GTA database is assessed solely in terms of the extent to which its implementation affects the extent of discrimination against foreign commercial interests. On this metric, the state aid proposed here is discriminatory.
