Import quota

On 22 July 2015, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, announced the EU would increase its annual quota for Tunisian oil. According to media reports, the quota would be raised from 56'700 to 81'700 tonnes. Mogherini stressed that the measure was "temporary exceptional" but she did not specify for how long the quota increase would last.
Furthermore, Tunisia would in the future be subject only to annual rather than monthly quotas.
Update
On 17 September 2015, the European Commission announced in a press release that the quota would be increased by 35'000 to 91'700 for the years 2016 and 2017.
This measure hence revokes the previously set monthly quotas for the year 2015 (cf. Related Measures).
