No On 14 August 2012, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in India increased (according to NOTIFICATION No. 10 (RE - 2012)/2009-2014) the minimum Cost in Freight (CIF) value for imports of areca nuts from INR 35/kg to INR. 75/kg.
The import value was later increased in May 2013 to INR 110/kg (see related measure).
