Anti-dumping

On January 14, 2009, the Israeli authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of recycled containerboard (testliner and fluting) from the European Union.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 4805.1100, 4805.1200, 4805.1900, 4805.2400 and 4805.2500. The dumping is suspected to have occurred between January 1, 2008, and December 31, 2008.
On August 31, 2009, the Israeli authorities imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of recycled containerboard (testliner and fluting) from the European Union. The amount of this duty ranges from EUR 0 to EUR 67 per ton, depending on the exporting company.
On July 12, 2010, the Israeli authorities decided to terminate the anti-dumping investigation without imposing a definitive duty.
