ANNOUNCED AS TEMPORARYNo
On November 17, 2008 Australia imposed preliminary anti-dumping duties on processed dried currants originating in Greece. The decision was under review within the last couple of months and on November 17, 2009 the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service finalised the re-investigation of anti-dumping measures and ruled that injury indeed occurred and thus the anti-dumping measures on processed dried currants from Greece will remain in place in an unchanged form.
On January 6, 2014, the Australian Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Industry has decided that the anti-dumping measures applying to currants exported to Australia from Greece should continue from 14 January 2014.
