Import quota

On 7 June 2015, the Turkish government decided to impose additional duties on lamps for tables, Christmas trees and luster. The additional duty is equivalent to 20 percent of the import value.

Additional duties are imposed collectively with the MFN import duty set by the Decree on Import Regime. Notably, Turkey’s FTA partners and EU countries are exempt from additional duties.

On 21 April 2020, the government of Turkey temporarily increased the additional duties (see related state act).
