ANNOUNCED AS TEMPORARYNo
On 29 May 2015, the Minister of Commerce and Promotion of the Private Sector announced an immediate ban of concrete exports. According to the Minister, the country has been facing shortages of 1'000 tonnes per day, after one of the country's mills broke down several weeks ago.
Asked when the ban would be lifted, she said "after the situation will return to normal".
Based on the trade statistics of the UN COMTRADE database, Togo did not have any bilateral trade in concrete worth more than 1 million USD. Hence, no affected trading partner has been listed.
