Anti-dumping

On April 20th, 2015, the Argentinian authorities decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on imports of plastic pools (excepting pools with glass fibre reinforcement), whose size is between 500 and 24.000 litres, from Brazil and China (Resolution 71/2015, 20.04.2015).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 9506.9900.
The complaint was lodged on March 28th, 2014 by Metalúrgica la Toma S.A. The investigation started on the day following the publication of the resolution in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic, i.e. on April 25th, 2015.
On 11 March 2016, the Argentinian authorities issued their preliminary decision (Resolution 36/2016). They decided to continue the investigation without imposing a provisional anti-dumping duty. Resolution 36/2016 was published in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic on 17 March 2016.
On 4 May 2016, the Argentinian authorities terminated above investigation without the imposition of anti-dumping duties.
