State loan

On 4 November 2014, the Ministry of Agroindustry and Technology through the Fund for Transformation and Growth launched a financial support program for grape harvesting and hauling.
 
The farmers that successfully applied to the program by 31 December 2014 received loans a the favorable rate of 12.5 percent. Furthermore, farmers that applied betwen 1 January 2014 and 15 February 2015 received loans at a rate of 17.5 percent. 
 
As an exemption to the above rates, smallholders shall receive the most favorable rat of 10 percent regardles of the application date.
 
The GTA includes state guarantees and other financial incentives thatare likely to affect the restructuring and performance of firms facinginternational competition, whether from imports, in export markets, andfrom foreign subsidiaries.
