Anti-dumping

 
On 14 December 2011, the Chinese Ministry of Finance (MOF) announced to levy anti-dumping and countervailing duties on some cars imported from the US. The products affected by this measure include saloon cars and cross-country cars with cylinder capacity over 2500cc, listed under 87032361, 87032362, 87032369, 87032411, 87032412, 87032419, 87032421, 87032422, 87032429, 87033311, 87033312, 87033319, 87033321, 87033322, 87033329, 87033361, 87033362, 87033369 and 87039000 in the import tariffs of the Chinese Customs. Now the MOFCOM has released a detailed list of companies and their anti-dumping and countervailing duties.

On 5 May 2011, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) released the Notice NO.20 (2011),announcing the final determination of Anti-dumping&CVD duty on imported Saloon cars and Cross-country cars. And in accordance with this Notice NO.20(2011), upon approval from the Customs tariff Commission of the State Council, the MOFCOM decided not to levy any anti-dumping / countervailing duty on investigated companies at the moment. But the MOFCOM did hold that it will release another Notice on this subject where necessary.
 
On 2 April 2011, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) released the Notice No.13 (2011), announcing the preliminary determination of anti-dumping&CVD on imported Saloon cars and Cross-country cars(of a cylinder capacity>2500cc) originating from the US.

On November 6, 2009 China initiated anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations on imports of saloon cars and cross-country cars (of a cylinder capacity = 2000cc) originating in the U.S. The notifications were issued by the the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM).
