On 29 April 2015 was approvedCouncil of Ministers Decree Nr. 105. Its purpose is to boost the competitiveness of the chemical and metallurgical industries through 4 projects. Selected companies are to receive a exemptions from the corporate income taxes as well as customs duties for a period of 3 years.
According to UN COMTRADE no trading partner had exports exceeding USD 1 million in the year prior to the intervention. Thus, no affected trading partners were identified.
The GTA includes state guarantees and other financial incentives that are likely to affect the restructuring and performance of firms facing international competition, whether from imports, in export markets, and from foreign subsidiaries.
