Import tariff

On 26 November 2014, the European Commission announced in regulation 1260/2014 it would reduce the import duty on sorghum into Spain by 100%. The decision was argued to be based on the high sorghum prices on the global markets.
The regulation came into force on 29 November 2014 and expired at the end of the year.
