NoOn June 2, 2014, the Moroccan authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of laminboard from Egypt.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 4412.1399, 4412.1499, 4412.1999, 4412.2299, 4412.2399, 4412.2999, 4412.9299, 4412.9399 and 4412.9999.
On June 10th, 2015, the Moroccan authorities issued their preliminary report and found a margin rate of 28.13%. However no provisional anti-dumping measure was recommended.
On 30 September 2015, the Moroccan authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty at a rate of 28.13%.
On 17 December 2020, the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the initiation of a sunset review of the definitive duty imposed on imports of laminboard from Egypt.
On 15 December 2021, the Moroccan authorities issued a regulation extending the definitive duty imposed on imports of laminboard from Egypt following the conclusion of the sunset review. The level of the duty is maintained at 28.13%.
