No On 19 April 2012, the European Commission announced a reduction of export refunds for beef and veal through regulation 343/2012. On average, the subsidies were lowered by a third of its previous level - for example for live bovine animals the levels fell from 12.9EUR/100kg of live weight to 8.6EUR/100kg. A complete list of the products covered is available in the appendix of the regulation.
The measure came into force on 20 April and was repealed on 22 June 2012 by regulation 534/2012.
