Export subsidy

 On 23 September 2010, the European Commission announced a reduction of export subsidies for beef and veal in the regulation 840/2010. The amounts were on average halfed; for instance, the refunds for live bovine animals were reduced from 25.9EUR/100kg live weight to 12.9EUR/100kg live weight. A complete list of products subject to the export refunds is available in the appendix of the regulation.
The regulation came into force on 24 September 2010.
