Anti-dumping

On December 12, 2014, the European Commission announced the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation on imports of certain aluminium foil of a thickness of less than 0.021 mm (not backed, not further worked than rolled) in rolls of a weight exceeding 10 kg (and excluding aluminium foil of a thickness of not less than 0,008 mm and not more than 0.018 mm in rolls of a width not exceeding 650 mm) from China (Notice No 2014/C 444/07).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: ex 7607.1119.
The complaint was lodged on October 28, 2014, on behalf of six EU producers representing 25% or more of the EU production of the subject goods.

On October 23rd, 2015, the European Commission terminated the investigation without imposing any anti-dumping measure (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) No 2015/1928, 23.10.2015). This announcement follows the decision, on August 20th, 2015, of the complainant to withdraw its complaint.
Commission Implementing Decision (EU) No 2015/1928 was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on October 27th, 2015.
