With Presidential Decree 260 of 2 April 2014 the Russian Government cancelled the export tax waiver for natural gas it supplies to the Ukraine. The duty waiver was introduced on 30 April 2010 as a part of the Agreement between Ukraine and Russia on the Black Sea Fleet in Ukraine, frequently referred to as "the Kharkiv Pact".
Presidential Decree 260 entered into force 30 days after its official publication.
