Import quota

On 29 September 2010, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance announced increases MAQs for potato, rye seed and root crops for forage with a total of 38,000 tons. This measure is effective from 1 October to 31 December 2010.

According to the ministry, the purpose of these revisions is to ensure that there is sufficient within-quota access for these specific products in order to minimize local food and feed prices.
