ANNOUNCED AS TEMPORARYNo
In a petition filed on May 29, 2014, Mid Continent Steel and Wire Inc. seeks the imposition of countervailing and anti-dumping duties on imports of certain steel nails from India, Korea, Malaysia, Oman, Taiwan, Turkey, and Vietnam. In its July 11, 2014 preliminary injury determination the U.S. International Trade Comission found that imports of these products from India and Turkey are negligible, and hence will be removed from the case, but there is a reasonable indication of injury for the other five countries.
The USITC reached a final affirmative injury determination on June 16, 2015, resulting in the imposition of AD and CVD orders on these imports.
