Anti-dumping

On May 29, 2008, the Ukrainian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of nap linen (including long nap) and terry linen from China and South Korea.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 6001.1000, 6001.2100, 6001.2200, 6001.2900, 6001.9100, 6001.9200 and 6001.9900.
On June 6, 2009, the Ukrainian authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of nap linen and terry linen from China and South Korea. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in China is 140%. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in South Korea is 27.99%. This duty entered into force on July 6, 2009 and is applicable for a period of five years.
The anti-dumping measure imposed on June 6, 2009 on imports of nap linen and terry linen originating in China and South Korea expired on July 7, 2014.
