Anti-dumping

On May 29, 2008, the Ukrainian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of lactic acid from China.
The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code: 2918.1100.
On June 6, 2009, the Ukrainian authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of lactic acid from China. The rate of the duty is 31.8%. This duty entered into force on July 6, 2009 and is applicable for a period of five years.
The anti-dumping measure imposed on June 6, 2009 on imports of lactic acid originating in China expired on July 7, 2014.
