Anti-dumping

On July 27, 2013, the Ukrainian authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of cables, ropes, wires and other like articles from steel or iron from China.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 7312.1041, 7312.1049, 7312.1065, 7312.1081, 7312.1083 and 7312.1098.
While initiating the sunset review, the Ukrainian authorities decided to extend the existing anti-dumping duty from August 29, 2013 onwards till a decision on the results of the review is taken. The rate of the duty is 123%.
On October 2, 2013, the Interdepartmental International Trade Commission decided upon the continuation of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of cables, ropes, wires and other like articles from steel or iron from China. This decision entered into force on October 4, 2013.
