Anti-dumping

On January 25, 2013, the South African authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of coated paper from China and South Korea.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 4810.1990. The dumping is suspected to have occurred between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012.
On September 27, 2013, the South African authorities imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of coated paper from China and South Korea. The rate of the duty is 14.14% for imports originating in China and 17.25% for imports originating in South Korea.
On February 21, 2014, the South African authorities terminated the investigation without imposing a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of coated paper from China and South Korea.
