Anti-dumping

On July 30, 2013, the Pakistani authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of wall and floor tiles from Iran, Malaysia, Spain and the United Arab Emirates.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 6907.1000, 6907.9000, 6908.1000, 6908.9010 and 6908.9090.
The dumping is suspected to have occurred between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013.
 
According to the WTO semi-annual report on anti-dumping practices implemented by Pakistan dated August 29, 2014, the decision cannot be made due to court orders. No other details are provided.
 
The investigation was terminated without imposition of any duty on December 2, 2014.
