ANNOUNCED AS TEMPORARYNo
On December 26, 2013, the Brazilian authorities decided, after having conducted an expiry review, to continue the anti-dumping duty on imports of reduced indigo blue from Germany (Resolução No. 122, 26.12.2013). The product subject to the duty is classified under the following HS code: 3204.1590. The amount of this definitive duty in USD per tonne is 1,510.92 for all German exporters. This definitive anti-dumping duty entered into force on December 27, 2013 for a period of five years. This duty follows an expiry review requested by Bann Química Ltda. on November 23, 2012. A review was then initiated by the Secretary for Foreign Trade of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade on January 24, 2013 (Circular No. 7, 24.01.2013). The review started on the day of the publication of the circular in the Federal Official Gazette of Brazil, i.e. on January 25, 2013. The original anti-dumping duty entered into force on March 24, 2008 (Resolução No. 15, 20.03.2008).
On 27 December 2018, the Brazilian authorities terminated the definitive duty imposed on imports of the subject good from Germany. The duty was terminated as it was set to expire after an imposition period of five years.
