Export tax

On January 11, 2014, Indonesian President Yudhoyono signed regulation no. 6/PMK.011/2014 that will progressively increase the export tax on concentrates of copper, iron, manganese, lead, and zinc. On the date of signature, the tax on copper was increased from 20% to 25%: it is scheduled to reach its peak at 60% in the second half of 2016.
 
For the different metals, the increases are as follows:
Product -> H1-14-> H2-14-> H1-15 -> H2-15 -> H1-16 -> H2-16
Copper -> 25%-> 25%-> 35%-> 40%-> 50%-> 60%
Iron-> 20%-> 20%-> 30%-> 40%-> 50%-> 60%
Manganese -> 20%-> 20%-> 30% -> 40%-> 50%-> 60%
Lead-> 20%-> 20%-> 30%-> 40%-> 50%-> 60%
Zinc-> 20%-> 20%-> 30%-> 40%-> 50%-> 60%
