On 11 December 2013, the European Commission renewed the duty free import quota for beverages from Norway. Affected are products under the heading 2202.10.10 and 2202.90.10. Previously in 2013 a preferential duty of 0.047 EUR per litre had been applied for 17,303 million litres of the beverages. (from 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2013)
Update
On 22 October 2014, the Commission announced in regulation 1130/2014 it would reintroduce the quotas for the year 2015. Therefore, this measure has been suspended on 1 January 2015.
