On June 13, 2012, the Turkish authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of woven fabrics of synthetic and artificial stable fibers from China (Notification 2012/13).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 5513, 5514, 5515 and 5516.
On May 5, 2013, the Turkish authorities decided upon the continuation for a period of five years of the anti-dumping measure imposed on imports of the above-mentioned products originating in China (Notification 2013/10). The rate of the duty is 87% of the CIF value.
The original anti-dumping duty was imposed on February 15, 2001 (Notification 2001/2).
On August 11, 2014, the Turkish authorities initiated an anti-circumvention investigation on imports of woven fabrics of synthetic and artificial stable fibres from Bulgaria and Poland (Notification 2014/30) (see related intervention).
On 20 April 2018, the Turkish authorities initiated a sunset review of the antidumping duty imposed on imports of woven fabrics of synthetic and artificial stable fibres from China. This follows the application lodged by several domestic companies. The definitive antidumping duty will remain in force for the duration of the investigation.
