On March 20, 2012, the Turkish authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of endless transmission belts of trapezoidal cross-section (V-belts) from China, India and Vietnam (Notification 2012/5).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 4010.3200, 4010.3400 and 4010.3900.
On March 15, 2013, the Turkish authorities decided upon the continuation for a period of five years of the anti-dumping measure imposed on imports of the above-mentioned products originating in China, India and Vietnam (Notification 2013/3). The amount of the duty imposed on imports originating in China is USD 5.04 per kilogram. The amount of the duty imposed on imports originating in India is USD 3.50 per kilogram. The amount of the duty imposed on imports originating in Vietnam is USD 4.55 per kilogram.
The original anti-dumping duty was imposed on March 31, 2007 (Notification 2007/4).
On 2 March 2018, the Turkish authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from China, India and Vietnam. This follows the application lodged by Bando Kayış Sanayi ve Ticaret (Türkiye) A.Ş. The definitive antidumping duty will remain in force for the duration of the investigation.
