NoIn a petition filed on 19 July 2013, two U.S. firms (Globe Specialty Metals, Inc. and CC Metals and Alloys, LLC) seek the imposition of anti-dumping duties on ferrosilicon imported from Russia and Venezuela.
On July 31, 2014, the International Trade Administration reached a final negative determination in its investigation of Russia.
The U.S. International Trade Commission determined in its final determination, as reached on August 26, 2014, that imports from Venezuela do not injure the U.S. industry.
As a result of these two findings there will be no anti-dumping orders imposed on these imports.
