On 9 July 2010, Colombia's Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism adopted in Decree No. 2439 the temporary elimination of import duties on various chemical products such as acetates, polymers, and acids amongst others. This measure is effective with the adoption of the Decree until 31 December 2010.
