NoOn 23 January 2013, Colombia's Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism published Decree No. 0074 establishing a 10 per cent import duty on products classified under chapters 61, 62, 63 and 64, effective as of 1 March 2013. These chapters concern apparel and clothing, footwear and other textiles.
Update
On February 28, 2014, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Colombia issued Decree 456, modifying the compound import tariffs on the imports of specific types of textiles, apparel and footwear established in Decree 0074/2013. For more details, please see related measures.
On March 30, 2016, the Colombian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism issued Decree 515/2016 extending the increased import tariffs on apparel, clothing accessories, and footwear until July 30, 2016.
