NoOn 17 March 2009 Canada imposed a definite anti-dumping duty on certain aluminium extrusions originating in China. The amount of the ad valorem duty is 72.60%.
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal on March 17, 2014 renewed theexisting anti-dumping order against imports of aluminum extrusions fromChina. The original order was imposed on March 17, 2009, with therenewed order thus exceeding the five-year 'sunset' standard thatgenerally applies to trade-remedy measures under WTO agreements (i.e.,article 21.3 of the Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measuresand article 11.3 of the Anti-dumping Agreement).
