Export-related non-tariff measure, nes

On 13 November 2012, the Parliament of Australia enacted the Defence Trade Controls Act No. 153 of 2012, which strengthens Australia's export control regime for intangible technology listed on the Defence and Strategic Goods list (DSGL). The DSGL includes technologies, which are required for the development, production or use of dual-use goods and munitions listed in the DSGL. Previously, controls were only imposed on tangible technology exports related to the DSGL. The new act goes further by imposing controls on the exportation of intangible technology related to the DSGL.
