Anti-dumping

On December 14, 2012, the Pakistani authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of pegylated interferon alpha-2A from Switzerland.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 3002.2090. The dumping is suspected to have occurred between October 1, 2011 and September 30, 2012.
 
On July 27, 2013, the Pakistani authorities made a preliminary determination of dumping. The dumping margin is 27.58%. However, no provisional duty was imposed.
The Sindh High Court has granted stay in this investigation.
 
On 17 January 2015, theNational Tariff Commission concluded the above investigation without the imposition of duties.
