Anti-dumping

On December 26, 2008, the Turkish authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of mono ethylene glycol from Bulgaria, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code: 2905.3100.
 
On May 2, 2010, the Turkish authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of mono ethylene glycol from Bulgaria, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in Bulgaria is 30.1%. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in Kuwait ranges from 22.5% to 30.1%. The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in Saudi Arabia ranges from 6% to 30.1%.
 
On September 3, 2011, an interim review started only for imports originating in Saudia Arabia.
 
On March 21, 2012, the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports originating in Saudi Arabia was revoked.
 
On October 2, 2013, an interim review started only for imports originating in Kuwait.
 
On April 1, 2014, the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports originating in Kuwait was revoked.
 
The anti-dumping measure as far as Bulgaria is concerned expired on May 2nd, 2015.
