Anti-dumping

On July 24, 2012, the Moroccan authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of PVC from the United States of America.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 3904.10. The dumping is suspected to have occurred between July 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012.
On January 28, 2013, the Moroccan authorities decided to impose provisional anti-dumping duties on the product under consideration. This provisional duty entered into force on April 9, 2013. The rate of the duty on imports of PVC from the United States of America ranges from 25.43% to 63.90%, depending on the exporting company.
On December 27, 2013, the Moroccan authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of PVC from the United States of America. The rate of the duty ranges from 22.9% to 56.2%, depending on the exporting company.
