Import ban

In an effort to boost domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) exports, Iran has stopped transiting LPG from landlocked Turkmenistan to the Iranian seaports on 19 February 2013, several news websites report. Concurrently, the country is trying to boost production in its LPG refineries. Reference is made to a customs document with number 174-18-2-109-56704, which unfortunately is not publicly available.
