ANNOUNCED AS TEMPORARYNo
On December 27, 2012, the Argentinian authorities decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on imports of phenolic plywood panels, having at least one outer ply of wood other than coniferous, consisting solely of sheets of wood (except bamboo), thickness up to 6 mm, without plastic coating, from Brazil, China and Uruguay (Resolution 187/2012, 27.12.2012).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 4412.3200.
The complaint was lodged by Forestadora Tapebicuá S.A. The investigation started on the day following the publication of the resolution in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic, i.e. on January 3, 2013.
On April 3, 2014, the Argentinian authorities issued their preliminary decision (Resolution 45/2014, 03.04.2014). They decided to continue the investigation without imposing a provisional anti-dumping duty. Resolution 45/2014 was published in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic on April 8, 2014.
On July 3, 2014, the Argentinian authorities issued their final decision (Resolution 97/2014, 03.07.2014). They decided to terminate the investigation without imposing an anti-dumping duty. Resolution 97/2014 was published in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic on July 7, 2014.
