Anti-dumping

On 5 September 2012, the European Commission published Regulation No 796/2012 extending the dumping duties on imports of lever arch mechanisms originating in China, following a sunset review. The rate of duty is 27.1% or 47.4% of the net, free-at-Union frontier price, before duty depending on the company.
The definitive anti-dumping duty was originally imposed on 24 July 2006 through Regulation No 1136/2006.
The sunset review was initiated on 23 July 2011 by a notice published in the Journal of the European Union.
The following HS code is considered: 8305.1000.

On 1 September 2017, the European Commission initiated a sunset review of the antidumping duty imposed on imports of lever arch mechanisms from China. This investigation follows the application lodged on 30 May 2017 by the Lever Arch Mechanism Manufacturers Association.
